The Beijing Roasted Duck at Peking Duck Kitchen is served two ways: 1) crispy skin sliced and topped with sugar, 2) remaining meat and skin served with thin wrappers, cucumber, leeks and hoisin sauce. You can then choose how you want the remaining bones and meat to be done for an extra charge. Otherwise, ask them to wrap it up to go so you can make your own soup or Congee using the bones๐ŸฒIt was a pleasant surprise to find perhaps the best Peking duck in Toronto in a small restaurant located in a sketchy plaza. I loved this more than Peking Man, Chung King and Dayali. This comes as no surprise though upon learning that the chef here used to work at Quanjude which is the oldest and most popular duck restaurant in Beijing. Definitely worth a trip to savour authentic Peking duck in the city!๐Ÿฆ
